Things haven't changed much over the past 50 years. Fishermen and women still flock to the coast each year and are being greeted with new record breaking harvest from the waters of the blue Pacific Ocean. I'd guess as long as there are still fish and fishermen, Sportsmen's Cannery and Smokehouse will have a place in Winchester Bay. We have grown over the years; we have kept up with the newer and better methods of preserving our customers' catches, and we still pride ourselves on delivering the freshest and most flavorful fresh canned and fresh-frozen or smoked seafood products available anywhere.

Environmentally Safe - Albacore Tuna are caught on hook and line using "jigs", (rubber skirted lures).
We sell only troll-caught albacore tuna. Caught in the Pacific Ocean just miles from our store. Dungeness Crab is a favorite of seafood connoisseurs and a can of this delicacy makes a gift pack even more special.
